Bandwagon Continues with Terry and the Pirates

(as usual, click on any picture to make it worth looking at)

Yesterday Nell Jean reminded me of TERRY AND THE PIRATES. Back in the 40s and 50s cartoonist Milton Coniff dealt more with the modern day pirate marinated in Far East Intrigue and Mystic with his TERRY AND THE PIRATES comic strip.

And of course, MAD had their say:

MAD's Terry and the Pirates was written by MAD editor Harvey Kurtzman and illustrated by Wallace Wood.

You have solved a great international crisis. Send Teddy in and he will put an end to the whole situation.

Great issue and strip. Loved it.
